This will help them get through the next month and come out of this Covid-19 Quarantine still connected to their customers while keeping all of use safe including their own staff.#marketing #maketingadvice #covid19

  1. Reserve the first two hours you’re open for elderly and high risk customers This will be when your store is the cleanest and you can have the least amount of staff there to help. Keeping our high risk population safe is going to be a huge part of flattening the curve.

  2. Run ads on Facebook, Instagram, and youtube about your online ordering and curbside pick up options Saturate your area with social media ads. All of the big apps like Shipt are completely bogged down. People are having to wait up to three days to get groceries delivered. Get the word out about your service and get more customers shopping with you now.

  3. Keep essentials like toilet paper and wipes at the customer service desk Some people may not like this but I think it is the best way to ensure people are not hoarding these essentials.

  4. Offer a call in order option for  elderly customers so they just have to pick up and pay Senior Citizens are not always the best with Technology. If you offer a way for them to call in an order like a pizza, they may be more apt to buy with you through out this pandemic.

  5. Add markets on the floor six feet apart to help customers practice social distancing  This is just common sense but some people need to be told with marks on the floor. Don't forget, it is six feet apart on all sides.

  6. Add more disinfecting stations by the fresh food sections Helping people buy clean food is another great way to help flatten the curb. If one thing is for sure, you can't trust they will wash their fruits and veggies before they eat it.

  7. Order hand sanitizer from your local breweries and distilleries  This new trend has been picking up speed and is a great way to support the local businesses in your area.

  8. Have all check out staff wear cloth masks and gloves This will give your customers shopping with you more peace of mind. I know it means a lot to me when I have to go out.

  9. Do not allow reusable bags in the store, only brand new plastic and paper You never know where or how people store their reusable bags. Or, for that matter, where they have been besides your store.

  10. Hire more runners to help with curbside pick up. People need the work! The more we work together to get people the essentials like food, the more job opportunities we can create and the more people we can help out. I just read that there were 22 million unemployed Americans.

I hope this helps some of you. Please share this article with your friends and family if you think it can help them.
