I HATE bad design, and you should too. Bad design is offensive and a slap in the face of every visual designer out there. Much like marketing, design pulls on psychological elements, social elements, nostalgic elements, and so many more.  Im not saying you need to be the best designer in your company or city but you need to understand these rules in order to be dangerous and when your dangerous, you can create some pretty epic art.
